Are there dampers (SOFT CLOSE) on an overlay door with a visible rail?

Answer :

The idea of dampers (SOFT CLOSE CLIPS) for an overlay door with a visible rail is erroneous. The visible rail is equipped with stops which serve as dampers. The stops enable smooth opening and closing.

However, the stop provides less cushioning than a conventional damper(SOFT CLOSE CLIPS)
